pure-ftpd and modification time
I received a bug report saying that Chinese characters are not properly displayed when using the FTP plugin. So, I played around with several FTP servers on my Linux box. I noticed that pure-ftpd doesn’t display the complete modification time (only the day is printed). Thus, FTP programs (Capivara and even gftp) cannot parse the modification time correctly. Perhaps, one can change this in pure-ftpd.conf. However, the standard settings will not display the modification time as required by Capivara.
And what’s the consequence?
Time sync will NOT work as expected!
